Here's what one happy reader wrote-Before Christmas I ordered your new book, "Don't shoot".  It just arrived this week, and I'm already well into it.  It is an excellent book, particularly for those of us who are interested in the Revolutionary War history of the Mohawk Valley.  I have traced my relationship to General Israel Putnam, so was interested in the second version of his famous instruction at Bunker Hill ("Don't shoot until you are sure you can hit them or I will put the end of my musket up your arse!"). ~~ Dave Putnam, Captain, Duncan's Coy, King's Royal Yorkers

SECOND - Orderly Book of Sir John Johnson During The Oriskany Campaign 1776-1777. By William Stone.  504p.  1882, illust. Hard Cover $62.50
Reprint of the original book. Order from Higginson Books.
This is a very rare book (250 copies originally) and has the Battles of Oriskany and Klock's Field from both sides of the fight. Very interesting reading!
